  • I decided to make a baby sports bag set to give my cousin for her baby shower. I had this idea on my to-do list for years, so an invite to a shower for an expected baby boy was the push I needed to finally create it! I decided to include a baseball, basketball, football, and soccer ball. I wanted to keep going and make other sports balls, but the project took a little longer than planned and the bag only holds so many balls, so I decided to stop after the soccer ball!

This purchase includes 10 PDFs. I have included two PDF patterns for EACH pattern. One with detailed pictures – and one with NO pictures (in case of printing and you don’t wish to print all the pictures).

  • My brother and sister-in-law recently had a baby boy and since his nursery has a baseball theme, I decided to make him a baseball diamond lovey blanket! I think it turned out really cute! The best part was that I was able to use my Mini Baseball pattern that I created as part of my exclusive Baby Sports Bag Playset to make the ball in the center of the blanket – it was the perfect size for the lovey! I love when I can reuse my patterns to make a totally new project.

  • I finally got the chance to write out my pattern for the small baseball bat I whipped up last minute on the morning of my sister-in-law’s baby shower! I crocheted the bat to use as an accessory for the baseball diaper cake I made for the centerpiece at the shower. Not only is it the perfect size diaper cake decoration, but it is also a nice size plush for little ones to hold. It would be a great addition on any baseball project or display.  You may choose to make a bat (or several) in your favorite team’s colors. It is a fast project to make, so if you are looking for a sporty project to squeeze in one day, check it out!
